The top boundary of the beat is marked by the hedge on your left.
Just below the top limit is a stile which takes you onto the bank behind
the hedge. From here you can fish the Pumphouse Flat, which is excellent
in high water for spinning, especially in the spring. In low water, it
is not normally productive, but would be worthwhile with a light
spinner, worm or floated shrimp if fish are showing there.
It is fished from the bank with quite deep water under your feet. |
