Quite a number of people who are coming to visit us ask me
about tying patterns for our favourite flies,
so that they can tie up flies themselves before they come.
It seems to be rather difficult to find details - especially for Irish shrimp
patterns -
so I have tried to provide some information here.
If you come across any more information which you think would be useful for
other guests,
please email me and let me know & I'll include it here.
The following table is provided thanks to Danish
tyer Tommy Olinsson who has a superb site on http://www.danishflydesign.dk
He has kindly allowed me to reproduce his pictures and links to his site
for the patterns.
Tommy has also fished out of Blackwater Lodge!
The Tables below give dressings and/or links to sites with
more details on some of our favourite patterns.
