Highlights
May 23: Joint Best Day on One Beat - 6 fish
caught.
June 13: Fourth Second Best Fish of
the Season.
Connie Corcoran 14.6lb. Spinner on Upper Kilmurry.
Another fish ~8lb. released on fly on Kents.
July 31: Four Fish & a Unique Experience!
A first ever salmon for Tim James (UK) with a 4lb. grilse on spinner from Beat
6,
followed by his second & third from Beat 4 - Kents ably guided by Glenda.
He also caught a 2½lb seatrout.
Aug. 5: Six Fish & another Unique Experience!
2 First Ever salmon (grilse of 3 & 5lb) for Julian Dowding & his son Paul.
Paul then caught his second (12.9lb.) & his third (12.1lb.) the same day.
Two other fish also caught. All fish taken on spinner.
Aug. 9: Third Best Day of
the Season & yet another Unique Experience!
17 fish to 11.9lb. caught. First 3 Ever Salmon for Caoimmghin Phelan in One Day.
Aug. 23: Best Day of the Season.
25 fish to 12.2lb
Aug. 28: Third Best Fish of the
Season.

Sept. 2: Joint Best Day on

All six fish caught on Silver Bullet - best 14.7lb.
Sept. 4: Second Best Day of

The Weather

As you can see from the graph above, the trend towards wetter summers & higher
water levels has continued.
The 2009 level was not as high as 2008 fromfor July, August & September, but
higher than 2007 for August & September.

More Bigger Fish

The results for 2009 show a large increase in the proportion of
bigger fish caught in 2009.
The five previous years are actually all quite similar, so this is
perhaps better illustrated

against the average proportion for the previous 5 years, which can
