New Best Fish so far for 2015!

Paul Sands (UK) released caught a very fresh 11 pounder on fly on Lower Kilmurry on May 28.
He also released a 7 pounder. Both very fresh but not sea-liced.

 Highlights
 
 Feb. 6: 
The First Springer is caught.   Mike Sheridan (Dungarvan) released a 9lb. fish
              at the Hut on Lower Kilmurry on spinner.
March 1: BEST DAY SO FAR. Two fish caught. A 7 lb. for David Jackson (Kents) & a 5.3lb. for
               Lawrence Fitzpatrick (Lower Kilmurry. Both on spinner on lower river.
March 6:  David Jackson landed & released his second springer. 9lb. on Kents on spinner.
March 17:  BEST DAY OF SEASON so far! Three springers caught.
                 BEST BAG OF SEASON so far! T
wo springers for Colm Dooly in 3 casts!
March 21:  Mallow SAC members had 2 fish of 9 & 10lb. on our Killavullen beat
March 24:  A sea-liced 8 pounder for Mark Roser on spinner on Lower Kilmurry.
April 3:  THE FIRST SPRINGER ON FLY. Taken by Dave Walsh at the Barrels
              on Bridgetown Priory & weighing 7.2lb.
April 5:  An 8 pounder for Dave Burke (Clare) on spinner from Upper Kilmurry.
April 6:  A 6.7lb. for Dan O'Keeffe (Cork) with his second cast on spinner on Ballinaroone.
April 13:  A 6.7lb. for Gavin O'Shea (Cork) on fly from Woodstream.
May 2:  A 10lb. sea-liced fish for Damien Maher on spinner from Kents - his third ever salmon!
May 6:  A 9lb. sea-liced fish for Ian Powell on spinner from Lower Kilmurry.
May 15: 
Alan Watkinson (UK) landed a fresh 6 pounder on fly & a very fresh 8 pounder
              on spinner on Ballygarret. He also lost 3 more fish on spinner & one on the fly.
              Patrick O’Leary (Limerick) also lost two very  fresh fish of about 5 & 8lb.
              – one each on Upper & Lower Kilmurry.
May 16:  A very fresh 7lb on fly for Hugh Hardyman from Carrig & a fresh 9lb on spinner
              for Mat Burbridge from Kilcanwy.
May 19:  One fresh 10lb fish from Killavullen.
May 21:  A sea-liced 5lb grilse on fly for Dave McDowell (N. Ireland) from Ballygarrett.
May 22:  A sea-liced 5lb. grilse on fly for Mike Walsh (UK) from Carrig.
              BEST FISH OF SEASON. A very fresh 11lb. for Daniel Kolomanski from Lower Kilmurry,
              just after losing a 10 pounder on spinner.
May 23:  A sea-liced ~10lb. grilse for Pat Kennedy (Kilkenny) & a very fresh 5lb. for
              Brendan Doheny - both on fly from Carrig.
May 24:  A superb very fresh 11lb. fish on spinner from Woodstream for Robert Aldridge (Wales).
May 25:  A very fresh 8lb. on spinner reported from the upper river by 12.00
              & a sea-liced 4lb grilse with long-tailed sea-lice for Ian Jnr.!
May 28:  BEST FISH OF SEASON! Paul Sands (UK) released 2 very fresh fish of 7 & 11lb on fly
              on the Island Stream on Lower Kilmurry.
              He saw a good few fish moving during the day as well.
