Compliments on Glenda's tuition
Many thanks for your prompt email and the excellent lesson which I thoroughly
enjoyed.
I have spent the last two nights casting continuously in my sleep and
by day have been asked by others as to why I am waving my arms around in such a
manner!
I think that you are underestimating yourself and flattering me when you write
of a “gift” for the real gift is not with the pupil who can pick up
something under instruction,
rather it lies with the teacher who can convey the
information in a manner that is clear, makes sense and in a way that gives a
greater understanding,
but then you are the number one in the world so…..
Thank you for including the main points/faults that I have to watch out for, I
think that everything is covered and come February I will have no excuse for not
being able to cover “that” fish.

Thanks to Glenda for a fabulous insight into the art of casting a fly. I am
sure the many tips I received will greatly enhance my enjoyment of fly

interesting and enjoyable.
With your attention, I felt both very confident and
that I achieved good progress with a new method.
You made the learning
process relevant and fun. I am pining for the Blackwater,
so have booked to
return at the end of September for some follow up tuition and hopefully,
productive fishing.
PS I will remember to give line next time I get a take on
the fly!

Hi Glenda & Ian,
Just wanted to say thank you very much for a hugely enjoyable day yesterday.
Everything about it was run so professionally and to such a high standard I
couldn't recommend it highly enough. And, Glenda, my thanks to you for decoding
what seemed to me to be a complicated and mystical process into something that I
have understanding and confidence in and I can't wait now to get back out onto
the river to start catching fish! I look forward to visiting Blackwater Lodge
again soon.
